From September 29 through October 1, healthcare’s most forward-looking leaders will gather at the MEDITECH Conference Center in Foxborough for MEDITECH LIVE 26. Ellit Groups will be there, and we’re energized about it because this year’s agenda reflects many of the conversations we’re already having with healthcare executives every week.
The Opportunity Between Roadmap and Realized Value
MEDITECH is introducing significant new capabilities this year, from Ask Expanse and Expanse Helper to ambient documentation for physicians and nurses and Traverse Exchange, which is expanding how organizations can exchange patient data across the care continuum. The conference tracks reflect an ambitious vision for accelerating innovation, advancing clinical intelligence, strengthening operational and financial performance, and transforming patient engagement and population health.
What we see across healthcare organizations is that the distance between what a platform can do and what an organization ultimately realizes from it is where significant value can be gained. Many health systems have opportunities to realize greater value from capabilities already available within Expanse. Go-live demands significant budget, bandwidth, and change-management capacity, and the work of optimization, adoption, and sustained transformation often continues long after implementation.
Bringing the Full Strength of Ellit Groups Together
The opportunity to maximize the value of an organization’s MEDITECH investment is where Ellit Groups brings the full strength of our capabilities together.
Our MEDITECH practice is built by people who have completed Expanse technical builds, led project plans, untangled interfaces, and stood on the floor at 3 a.m. during a cutover. We pair that field credibility with Ellit Groups’ broader capabilities across advisory, implementation, optimization, managed services, and HIT staffing, supported by disciplined governance, measurable milestones, and executive-level reporting.
Our approach starts with the outcome. When a CIO tells us clinicians are documenting after hours, revenue cycle performance has not returned to pre-implementation levels, or an interoperability strategy needs to extend beyond the state HIE, we look across the organization to understand the challenge, define what success looks like, and bring the right combination of expertise and support to move it forward.
Three Things We’re Watching Closely at LIVE 26
Agentic AI in real clinical workflows. Early adopters will be sharing firsthand results from AI-driven tools, and John Halamka’s perspective on preparing for AI-enabled care will be important for the industry to hear. We want to understand what is working, what adoption looks like in practice, and what organizations are learning so we can continue advising clients from evidence and firsthand insight.
Interoperability as a strategic asset. The rebranded Interoperability & Innovation Hub reflects MEDITECH’s continued investment in data exchange. Organizations that can move clean, structured data across the continuum are better positioned to strengthen quality performance, risk arrangements, operational decision-making, and the patient experience.
Workforce readiness. Effective workforce readiness extends beyond initial training. Organizations realizing the greatest value from Expanse are building structured preceptor and education programs designed to strengthen confidence, competency, and adoption over time. This is an area where Ellit Groups has been designing repeatable, sustainable programs, and it is a conversation we’re especially eager to continue at LIVE 26.
Let’s Talk in Foxborough
Ellit Groups is coming to LIVE 26 to listen first. We want to hear what’s working in your environment, where optimization initiatives are getting stuck, and what your leadership team is being asked to deliver over the next eighteen months. Then, we want to be useful in helping you move those priorities forward.
If you’ll be there, we’d welcome the chance to sit down over coffee between sessions, in the MEDITECH Lounge and Vendor Gallery, or at the Huddle at Gillette Stadium on September 29. Tell us where you are, and we’ll find you.
And if you’re not making the trip this year, we’d still welcome the conversation. We’re scheduling Expanse readiness and optimization discussions throughout the fall, focused on each organization’s environment, adoption priorities, and opportunities to realize greater value from its technology investment.
